Workshop planning · GIPIX
Load Calculator car service posts
Compare the workshop capacity with the actual record: percentage of occupancy, idle hours and an estimate of the revenue that can be achieved without new posts.
Capacity planning
How many orders do your posts attract?
Compare the actual record with the theoretical capacity of the workshop. You will see downtime in hours and an estimate of lost revenue if slots are not filled.

The calculation does not take into account parallel work at one post and different durations by type of service. For an exact plan, see the actual schedule in the CRM.

Capacity by time
Posts × working hours ÷ order duration - theoretical shift ceiling.
Download percentage
A visual indicator: below 60% is a signal to work with recording and reminders.
Hours of downtime
How long do posts last without a car with the current flow of clients?
Shortage of revenue
Valuation in rubles if you fill the empty slots with the same average check.

In GIPIX, the schedule is by posts and masters - you can see real “windows”, and not just average ones.
Customer Reminders
MAX and Telegram reduce no-shows - one way to increase actual load.

Two services with the same number of posts can earn differently. The difference is in the discipline of recording: when the slots are spread out, the technicians are waiting for the car, and the owner does not see the losses, because “everyone seems to be busy.”
The workload calculator converts the shop floor into numbers. You indicate the number of posts, how many hours per day the post actually works, the average duration of the order and how many cars actually pass through per shift. The output is the maximum capacity, the percentage of occupancy and an estimate of the lost revenue if the empty slots were filled.
Usually a combination of measures helps: online booking with visible slots, appointment reminders, package services “TO + diagnostics” and transferring minor work to “quiet” hours. On the Business tariff, the client chooses the time himself; on Free and Pro - a dense magazine and newsletters in messengers.
100% utilization is not always the goal: with low margins, an overloaded workshop only increases turnover without money in your pocket. First, check the economics in profit calculator, then increase the volume where the margin allows.

Frequently asked questions
- How is post capacity calculated?
- The number of posts is multiplied by working hours per day and divided by the average duration of one order. This turns out to be a theoretical maximum of cars per shift.
- Do I need to deduct lunch and breaks?
- Yes: reduce the “hours per post per day” parameter - this way you will allow downtime for changing crews and preparing posts between machines.
- What to do if the load is below 60%?
- Check out the entry: customer reminders, online slots, package services and moving “little things” to quiet hours. In GIPIX, you can see empty windows in the post log.
- Is the calculator linked to the profit calculator?
- Yes: the shortfall in revenue from downloading posts can be compared with the margin in the profit calculator - so it’s clear whether it’s worth increasing the volume or raising the check first.
